It all begins with an idea. A small idea: Eddy Frings, my stylist and art director, brings that initial spark to the studio. From there we refine the concept, working with available props, arranging elements and building a set — gradually shaping and bringing the idea to life with careful adjustments and deliberate choices. This time he had an idea of dystopian film stills set in an imaginary world, populated with Russian wood toy houses and tiny figurines that hint at a larger, uncanny narrative.
